Akira Tajima is a manager of Data Analytics research team at IBM Tokyo Research Laboratory. He joined IBM Research in 1992, and his main technical interests include algorithms, optimization, data mining and business intelligence solutions. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Science from Tokyo University.
He also has four years (2002-2005) of experience in a management consulting firm, where he experienced various strategy/operations projects in various industries.
