2D numeric association rule example

Large picture
This figure shows our 2D rule visualizer.

In this example, we chose two numeric attributes, "Age" and "Glucose", and divided them into 16x16 (64) cells. For each cell, brightness represents the number of people, and redness expresses the ratio of diabetes diseased patients.

The region enclosed by light-blue lines is the maximized confidence region with a given minimum support threshold (threshold of the size of the region).

By moving the slider, the minimum support threshold can be controlled. As you move the slider, you can see changes of the maximized regions.
