Overview
The eXtensible markup language (XML) is a promising standard for describing semi-structured information and contents on the Internet. When XML comes to be a widespread data encoding format for Web applications and services, it becomes important to secure XML data in various ways. For example, we need to sign and encrypt XML data for non-repudiation and confidentiality, respectively. We are working on research and development related to such XML security issues.
