World's Highest Level of Interaction and Research
|

The environment does not consist only of visible things - it's also about
relationships. One researcher said, "Researchers can experience the
great joy of seeing their own technology go into the world in the form
of IBM products." Another commented, "We exchange daily with first-
class researchers in Japan and abroad, including some 3,000 IBM
researchers who play an active role in the world. This is a stimulating
experience." As a member of a global corporation, TRL researchers are
given opportunities for world-class interaction and research.

A Culture of Respect |
|
| We believe that research laboratories are built around people. One
researcher vowed, "We will always continue to pursue technological
creativity." Another said, "We respect each other as researchers who
have a high level of specialized knowledge." Still another said, "All
researchers in a group strive to achieve ambitious goals with enthusiasm
and to be able to present many papers at major international conferences."
We are proud of the research climate at TRL.
